the moons-over-montauk series was a special series developed for a new restaurant pop up in east hampton for the summer of 2024. the restaurant called wayan/ma-de out east, led by chef Cedric Vongerichten, was a combination of his 2 restaurants in nyc. i wanted the marble moons to feel like the colors of bali and play off the southeast asian menus, exposed brick interior, lush greenery and gold votives.
